Editorial Illustration For Lifestyle & Society

Pets as Family Members

A sophisticated and humorous editorial illustration exploring the evolving role of pets in modern households.

Commissioned by the Italian newspaper Il Corriere della Sera for its “La 27 Ora” section, this piece accompanies an in-depth feature on how animals are increasingly recognized as full members of the “extended family” rather than mere objects. The artwork captures a serene, domestic moment between a woman and her poodle, using a warm color palette and elegant silhouettes to reflect the deep emotional bond and the changing social landscape regarding animal companionship. This project showcases my ability to humanize sociological topics through engaging and aesthetically refined visual storytelling.
