Editorial Illustration For Travel & Culture

Colobraro: Business and Bad Luck

A whimsical and conceptual travel illustration for a feature on the Italian town of Colobraro and its unique reputation.

Commissioned by Il Corriere della Sera for its “Liberi Tutti” magazine, this project explores the curious story of a town historically associated with “bad luck,” which it has cleverly transformed into a cultural and tourist asset. The artwork centers on a dominant black cat—a classic symbol of superstition—observing the picturesque village from a rooftop. This project highlights my ability to blend cultural storytelling with a graphic, textured style that adds a layer of irony and narrative depth to editorial travel journalism.
